Rosemary Domino was recently named a Professional of the Year in Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal by
Cambridge Who’s Who. Her considerable contributions to the environmental science field and involvement with DK Environmental and Affiliates – an environmental health agency – have helped to vastly improve California’s ecological community.
For more than 10 years Ms. Domino has demonstrated skillfulness in her safety compliance practices at DK Environmental and Affiliates, which promotes ecological health. In her position as the director of environmental affairs, she manages hazardous waste, site cleanup and progressive treatment disposal and ensures that projects undertaken by federal, state and local agencies comply with environmental, health and safety laws and regulations. These projects include storage, transfer, treatment and disposal activities.
For more than 20 years, Ms. Domino has also functioned as a specialist in the industry. She has also been a key player in the promotion and protection of public health and the environment. She is proud to have made noteworthy strides toward sustainability, and feels that attaining her current position has been the peak of her career thus far. She is a graduate of California State University, Dominguez Hills, having received a bachelor’s degree in 1997. She also earned a certification in hazardous materials management from the University of California, Los Angeles. She is a member of the California Society of Safety and Security Professionals, the California Waste Association, and Phi Kappa Phi. Although she devotes a considerable amount of time to her profession, many of her hobbies translate into environment-friendly pastimes, as she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, traveling and gardening.
