Terry C. Windell Cambridge Who’s Who Lifetime Member Terry C. Windell has achieved many audio-visual feats as a film director for Fireflite Productions, LLC. With specialty in film direction, stereoscopic 3D production and visual effects supervision, Mr. Windell has contributed to the directing of numerous noteworthy projects which include several seasons of “Star Trek Voyager” and the television movie special “Dark Frontier.” He also supervised the animation for the “Ghostbusters” movie and served as visual effects designer for “E.T” and “Star Wars-Return of the Jedi.”

Mr. WTerry C. Windell On-Setindell has expertise in production illustration, animation supervision and visual effects supervision. He has directed, designed and supervised the visual effects for more than 120 television commercials. Fortune 500 clients of his include Budweiser, Harley Davidson, Ford Motor Company, HBO, Showtime, Nintendo, United Airlines, Miller Brewing Co., and Chrysler-Jeep. His commercials received several distinctions which include a New York Film Festival Award, an Addie, The Mobius, Clios, and "Billboard Magazine’s" esteemed “Spot of the Year.”

Mr. Windell began his career as a traditional animator and has since served in various creative capacities, which include storyboard artist, live-action film director and, more recently, a stereoscopic 3D film director and designer. He feels that it is important to share his extensive knowledge and experience in film direction with future film makers, and instruct students at the Academy of Art University. Additionally, he is a sought-after lecturer at higher-education institutions and film festivals, having spoken at the USC School of Film, the American Film Institute, the Savannah College of Art and Design, the Art Center College of Design, the Scottsdale Film Festival, the Big Bear Film Festival, and the Poppy Jasper Film Festival.

Mr. Windell attended Pasadena’s Art Center College of Design and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, The Director’s Guild of America, the Art Director’s Guild, and the Visual Effects Society. Although dedicated to his career in film direction and educating upcoming film makers, he also enjoys skiing, artwork, watching movies and collecting classic automobiles.
