Producer Denise Nolan Cascino, a lifetime member of Cambridge Who’s Who, has achieved a unique level of honor and distinction for her work at DreamWorks Animation. She has become a proven leader in the entertainment industry and continues to raise the bar for the animation production company, which produces computer-generated entertainment. Ms. Cascino specializes in the oversight of feature animation film production. In her current capacity, she oversees budgeting operations, conducts strategic planning and data analysis processes, manages leads for projects and provides production management services.

She has served in several capacities on numerous film sets, including as animator for the 77th Academy Awards (2005); senior production manager for “Shrek 2” (2004); production supervisor of the layout department for “Shrek” (2001); and production supervisor of layout for “Antz” (1998). Her co-production services on the computer-animated blockbuster film “Shrek the Third” (2007) helped the movie to receive rave reviews, numerous awards and a gross of $322.7 million domestically. Ms. Cascino is also a producer of “Megamind,” an upcoming film starring Brad Pitt and Will Ferrell, et al.

Prior to her current role, Ms. Cascino served as co-executive producer on 1995’s “Twas the Night Before Bumpy,” which aired as the “Bump in the Night” Christmas special from 1994 to 1996, for which she served as post-production supervisor. Ms. Cascino supervised the filming of the series, which utilized clay animation effects – a form of stop motion animation where each object and character is formed out of clay or another flexible substance.

A member of the International Animation Film Society, Ms. Cascino is devoted to production management, feature animation and film production. She received a bachelor’s degree in broadcast communication arts from San Francisco State University in 1981, and earned an associate degree in liberal arts from the University of Hawaii. With more than ten years of experience in her field, she has dedicated herself to growing professionally, and as a mother, she enjoys spending time with her children, traveling, surfing and playing tennis.
