She also enjoys admiring nature, and is a passionate reader. However, Ms. Shannon is most content when she is helping others to remove constant worry and negativity from their lives and become conscious of their true calling, through her motto, “Food Equals Love.” She attributes her success to finally understanding how important it is to listen to your inner voice and to accept fear as illusion instead of reality. Having authored “Angel Shannon’s Stick of Butter Cookbook,” she received the Best Cookbook of the Year Award in 2007 from Cedar Fort Publishing.

Ms. Shannon remains abreast of current trends by researching and surrounding herself with like-minded individuals. She represents Associated Food Stores through the company’s “Fresh Ideas” print ads, which provide terrific recipes and seasona ideas for unique cooking needs.
