Cambridge Who’s Who Gold Member Winrow Henderson has made significant contributions to the housing development industry, particularly in the areas of architecture and design. At his current post as an architect for the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development, he routinely demonstrates his expertise in the construction of housing and community facilities. Mr. Henderson has been building housing facilities for more than 15 years. Through the United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development, he designs and builds infrastructures for communities in the New Jersey area with 20,000 or fewer residents, which include municipal buildings, senior housing, assisted living, and single- and multi-family homes. He also specializes in supplying water and electricity to structures that are devoid of utilities.

An interest in architectural design prompted Mr. Henderson to enter the field of architecture. After taking courses with a concentration in architecture at Temple University, he earned a Bachelor of Science in 1989. In 2008, Mr. Henderson’s successful work at his current post has earned him a Group Employee Recognition Award for Production. He feels he has been successful in his career path because of the consistent passion he maintains about his profession; also, because of the support he received from his parents.

Mr. Henderson is currently in pursuit of LEED certification. He is a member of the National Organization of Minority Architect and an associate member of The American Institute of Architects. He continues to strengthen his professional endeavors in architecture and housing development, and also plans to become involved in construction law in the near future. In addition, he has taught confirmation class at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church in Cherry Hill for over 15 years. He enjoys collecting classic cars, and spending time with his family. He is proud to have raised his two daughters as a single professional father – a feat he feels is truly rewarding.

Winrow Henderson joined Cambridge Who’s Who as a Gold Member in September 2008.
