Kelly K. Johnson, a Gold member of Cambridge Who's Who among Executives, Professionals and Entrepreneurs, is an attorney who has shown commitment not just to her profession but to her community as well. Johnson is an associate with Ryley Carlock & Applewhite in Phoenix, AZ. She joined their litigation department in 2006 and practices in the areas of labor and employment, commercial litigation, and construction defense. Some of the major companies that she has litigated for include Chevron, Bank of America, N.A., Mach 1 Air Services, Inc. and Northshore International Insurance Services, Inc.

Johnson has been featured in the Arizona Business Journal, Arizona Woman and Phoenix Magazine for her professional accomplishments. She remains actively involved in her community by participating in local high school and college moot court competitions. She also volunteers for the American Cancer Society, FreshStart and HomeBase Youth Services.

Johnson attributes her success to the hard work she has put into her profession as well as the support she has received from her family and colleagues. In five years, Johnson plans to still be practicing law and working with the Volunteer Lawyers Program of Arizona. The program, started in 1981, connects low-income clients in need of civil legal assistance to attorneys willing to do pro bono work. The program mobilizes over 1,000 attorneys and law students each year to give their time, service and expertise to those in need.

Not only does Johnson practice law and volunteer her time, but she was crowned Ms. Arizona Woman in 2007. The competition is part of the Arizona United States Pageant and was held at the Herberger Theater Arts Center for the Arts in downtown Phoenix, AZ on March 31, 2007. Johnson also received the SuperModel with Style, Congeniality and Most Photogenic Awards. With the other pageant winners, she participated in various community activities including the Southern Arizona Race for the Cure event.

Johnson received a bachelor of arts from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln in 1999 and a JD from The John Marshall Law School in 2002. She is also a member of the American Bar Association, American Cancer Society and the Executive Women's Golf Association.
