Cambridge Who's Who Member Denise Nolan Cascino

Cambridge Who's Who Lifetime Member Denise Nolan Cascino, Co-Producer at Dreamworks ACambridge Who's Who and Co-Producer of Shreknimation SKG, is a producer of computer-graphics animated feature films. She received her bachelor of arts in broadcast communication arts in 1981 from San Francisco State University and began her production career as a master control operator and editor at San Francisco-based independent television station KOFY TV20. In 1996, she started working for Dreamworks Animation SKG as the layout supervisor for "Antz," the company's first-ever CG-animated feature.
Her responsibilities evolved and she went on to serve as the layout production supervisor for "Shrek," Dreamworks Animation SKG's blockbuster movie that won Best Animated Feature Film at the 74th Academy Awards. While working on the sequel "Shrek 2," Cascino was named the senior production manager. It became the all-time highest grossing animated motion picture and even inspired an American Idol spoof, "Far Far Away Idol" featuring Simon Cowell. Cascino served as production manager on this 10-minute musical parody. She also worked as a co-producer for "Shrek the Third," starring Mike Meyers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz and Antonio Banderas. (Cascino has also played an integral part in expanding the Shrek franchise, including production on the Shrek SuperSlam video game published by Activision Publishing, Inc.)

Cascino is a member of the International Animation Film Society. Prior to her work at Dreamworks Animation SKG, she was a post-production supervisor and a co-executive producer for the ABC Kids stop motion television series "Bump in the Night." She was also employed as a line producer at San Francisco post-production facility Varitel Video.

As a co-producer at Dreamworks Animation SKG, Cascino is responsible for overseeing feature animation film production, conducting strategic planning, conducting data analysis and providing production management.
