The first Image to be released will be from his endangered 'Wild Things' collection. A Hono, or endangered Hawaiian Hawksbill Turtle is featured on hats, t-shirts, mugs & tote bags. The Turtle is an Aumakua, or totem ancestor to many native cultures, worldwide. It most often represents Mother Earth, or Grandmother Earth; meanings or hidden (Kaona in Hawaiian) qualities of intelligence, wisdom, persistence, & longevity of life.
Along with the image of the Turtle flying in the clouds, will be a Hawaiian Saying MALAMA, Care For. A common saying in Hawaiian is Malama Aina, Care for the Earth(Mother). We must 'Care for' the Honu now endangered as our Planet & we are endangered. The Words a "Honu Planet," are imprinted with the Turtle Image, as well.
